Stockpiles

The Stockpiles feature allows you to monitor, track, and report on material volumes stored on-site in real time. It helps maintain compliance with licence limits, supports resource recovery planning, and replaces manual spreadsheets with an auditable, centralised record of stock movements for improved efficiency and transparency.

Using Stockpiles

Stockpile Dashboard

From the Stockpiles Dashboard you can use STOCKPILE FILTERS to narrow down the stockpile listed or use STOCKPILE STATUS to see All, Active, or Archived stockpiles. You can see the current volume of material (STOCKPILE VOLUME) on site for each stockpile or select any of your STOCKPILES to open up their full view.

Note: You may not have a ‘Create Stockpile’ button on your page. Please contact PIVOT Support if you would like any new Stockpiles set up.

Stockpile View

Within each Stockpile you can see the CURRENT STOCKPILE VOLUME & CAPACITY, create MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS to the volume and set STOCKPILE ALERTS. You can also see all adjustment records including Manual Adjustments and Subloads, these can be filtered using the ADJUSTMENT FILTERS.

Stockpile Adjustment

Stockpile volumes are automatically adjusted every time a subload is created for the relevant waste combination (ie. a load is entered). Manual Adjustments can be made at any time to reflect changes to stockpile volumes such as internal site movements, collection of material for processing or any other reason.

Manual Adjustment - (No Transfer)

If you’re making a Manual Adjustment to a Stockpile and do not need to transfer the material to another stockpile within your site, you can simply enter the ADJUSTMENT VOLUME. Adjustment amount can be entered as either a positive or negative amount depending on which way you are adjusting the stockpile, or alternatively you can enter the ‘Current Amount After Adjustment’ to reflect the new Stockpile volume.
There is also an optional field to include ADJUSTMENT NOTES.

Manual Adjustment - (Internal Transfer)

If you are making a Manual Adjustment to a Stockpile and do need the material to transfer to another stockpile select your TRANSFER STOCKPILE. Once selected you can enter your ADJUSTMENT AMOUNT which will show in the TRANSFER STOCKPILE ADJUSTMENT VOLUME.

Stockpile Alerts

Stockpile Alerts can be used to automatically notify an assigned user when a set Stockpile threshold is met.

Alert Management

In the Alerts tab you will see all existing alers which are set up for the stockpile. The ALERT DETAILS show who will receive the Alert. The ALERT THRESHOLD is the value which once exceeded, will trigger the Alert. There are several ALERT ACTIONS which can be used to Duplicate, Edit or Delete an Alert. New Alerts can also be created with the CREATE ALERT button.

Alert Creation

In the Create Alert section you can set up new alerts. You can set the ALERT RECIPIENT and then the threshold at which they will be alerted under ALERT DETAILS. If you would like to set a custom alert threshold (ie. Not a percentage of the stockpile limit) use the CUSTOM VALUES button. Ensure you set the ALERT STATUS to active before you press create alert.
